Free Application for BlackBerry Users

Research In Motion offers a package of free applications as a greeting apology for the BlackBerry server outages for three days so that users can not send emails.

RIM said the 12 applications that have a value of more than $ 100. "We thank our loyal customers for their patience," said Founder and CEO of RIM Mike Lazaridis in a statement in the electronic mail RIM.

"We apologize to our customers and we will work tirelessly to restore their confidence. We are taking aggressive steps to prevent it from happening again," he said.

The breakdown in email messages and SMS messages struck Europe, Middle East, Africa, India,Canada,Mexico,the United States and parts of South America. The incident ended on Thursday,a day before Apple iPhone 4S Apple sold in stores.

RIM said free applications would be available within the next few weeks until December 31,2011. "This is a form of appreciation for their patience during the disruption of service," he said.
