Israel Radio said Palestinian militants were released through several checkpoints between Israel and the West Bank.
"Security Prisoners" Israel is a term used to refer to prisoners convicted of opposing the Israeli occupation.
Minister of Social Institutions said that 770 Palestinian detainees from the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Arab towns in Israel,and was released from prison in Ketziot and Nafha (Rimmon),israel,after serving their sentence.
The ministry said that the prisoners were not released under Israeli law, which allows the director of the Israeli prisons to reduce one or two months of detention in accordance with the humanitarian conditions of prisoners.

Channel 7 television which is a right-wing Israeli media said the prisoners were released in accordance with new regulations imposed by the IPS a few days ago,after much pressure from the Knesset and Environment Committee and the Interior of Israel.
The new regulation states that the maximum number of detainees in Israeli prisons can not exceed 17 700. He added that each detainee should be given at least 3 square feet of living space,for which the prison authorities must divide its territory by the number of detainees there.

The ministry said that the Hamas parliament member,Sheikh Hassan Yousef,was freed after serving six years in Israeli prisons. He added that Hamid Mahmoud Al-Sharif was also released after serving 17 years.
Yousef is a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and is considered by many as the best-known Hamas figure in the West Bank and represents the more moderate wing of the movement. The Israeli government arrested more than 41 Hamas MPs and ministers after a military group based in Gaza kidnapped Shalit in June 2006. Since then Israel captured mayors,academics,and ministers.
Hamas said that Yousef is one of the leaders who negotiated in exchange for Shalit's release.This movement added that Israel is still holding 15 Hamas MPs.
Since December 2009, the German and Egyptian mediators have failed to solve the 'prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel because of differences on both sides.
Hamas wants Israel to free 1,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails in exchange for the release of Shalit and Palestinian movement reportedly offered 450 imprisoned name Israel.
Israel also freed captive Israeli Arab region as well as several leaders of the Hamas military wing.Another unresolved issue is the demand for Israel to deport nearly 100 of the 450 prisoners "heavy",which is planned according to the agreement were released.
