Research: The U.S. Women Do not Read the Bible

A survey shows American women are now less religious. These results certainly surprised many and against the traditional view that states women have more spirituality than men.

Researcher George Barna has recently released a report on change in American religiosity. From Barma research released this week shows that American women experienced a significant spiritual changes in the last two decades.

According to the survey of women now, and rarely attended church and Sunday school classes mature, less reading the Bible, and think of faith as something not too important in their lives.
In the last two decades Barna report also shows the degradation of conceptual and traditional views of women of God as creator and ruler of all that is the universe. Women today tend to see the devil as a real person, rather than merely "a symbol of evil."
About his find Barna says that churches can no longer expect women will continue to faithfully fulfill the pews."In fact, the intensity of men and women in Bible reading now equally probable, because of the recent decline in Bible reading among women,"he said.
The number of men reading the Bible in a week has gone up 41 percent, while the women, have fallen by 10 percent to 40 percent.
Inversely related to women, men just do not experience significant changes in religion the way women experience during the last two decades.Male in America tend to be good and remain stable in the faith and religion.
And what about the spirituality of Christian women in Indonesia?Could a similar survey will be held to determine what steps to take the church in addressing the phenomenon like this.
