NASA Discover Planet in Residential Zones Can Be Filled Life

Scientists believe the planet contained water content can be filled lives. It can be seen from the most fundamental benchmark that says that 60 percent of the content contained within the human body is water. In addition, nearly all objects that exist on this earth contains water.

Thinking framework is then strengthened when scientists discovered a new planet Kepler-22b.These findings are very exciting for NASA.

NASA found a planet in a residential zone not far from other space object.NASA says Kepler-22b is the first planet they came out of his own, where in the planet's surface contains a lot of water.

Kepler-22b has a distance of 600 light years and larger than the Earth. With a fairly far distance that is,the possibility of this planet to hold water will be greater.

Indeed many qualities that are comparable to the planet Earth, but scientists still are excited to welcome the presence of planets that could certainly be filled lives.

"This is a major milestone for us to find Earth's twin," says a scientist who helped found the Kepler 22-b,Douglas Hudgins,in a statement quoted by TIME, Tuesday (06/12/2011).

This planet could potentially have a 290-day orbit around a star like the sun. Although the numbers are relatively small and make more cold temperatures, but it's not much different from the activity of the earth today.

Kepler-22b size itself is 2.4 times that of Earth's radius. With the size, makes Kepler as the smallest planet ever found in residential zones, which allows a temperature and climate are ideal for a living.

Unfortunately the scientists only know about the presence of Kepler's it but not yet know the composition of the planet. But NASA promised to continue to conduct investigations on the planet.
