Iranian military sources said Sunday (4/12/2011), said that his country shot down a pilotless aircraft owned by the United States who flew to the east of its borders.
The source also told the Iranian news agency IRNA that the American plane shot down was coded RQ170,and was on a mission to spy on Iran.
According to military sources,the country was in full control over the air, electronic units,as well as aircraft undetectable to enter Iran in the east.
Iranian officials also threatened to respond to a response back from the attack. Thus quoted alarabiya.
To the east,Iran borders Afghanistan there is lots of international coalition forces to fight the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.
The source did not mention the date and place of the plane,but only say that U.S. aircraft had suffered only minor damage
