U.S. Military in Kuwait will Place

The American government was negotiating with Kuwait to put American troops withdrawn from Iraq in the country.

The New York Times reported that negotiations were part of U.S.plans to increase its presence in the Persian Gulf,so that America can act quickly in case of confrontation with Iran or confusion arising again in Iraq.

In addition to station troops in Kuwait,the United States was also considering to send more warships into international waters in the region,but the amount of the standby force that has not been determined.

"We will have a strong presence across the region,which is evidence of our commitment to Iraq and the future of the region,and should be exempt from outside interference to continue the path of democracy," said U.S. Secretary of Terror, Hillary Rodham Clinton cited page NYTimes .com.

There has been no confirmation about the report that was published daily in The New York Times, written based on interviews with military officials and diplomats who remain anonymous.

America has been discussing the various plans in the Persian Gulf region since many months, but according to The New York Times, design is increasingly considered essential after President Barack Obama announced he would withdraw all American troops from Iraq later this year.

The New York Times also said the U.S.government is trying to improve relations and military cooperation with countries belonging to the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, namely Saudi Arabia,Kuwait,Bahrain, Qatar,United Arab Emirates and Oman.

The U.S. alone is currently using land air bases and Kuwait to maintain a small army of them in the country of Kuwait.

Conflict Iraq and Kuwait, has become a tool for the U.S.. Iraq attacks against Kuwait in the 90's has made the U.S. as an excuse to attack Iraq and to strengthen hegomoninya in the Middle East as well as survive in the Middle East.

Kuwait has played an important role in the Iraq war from the beginning. Most U.S. ground forces launched the invasion of Kuwait in the region in March 2003, and the small Gulf state has become a transit point for supply convoys and air transportation coalition forces during the conflict of Kuwait by Iraq.
