Anxiety Muslim immigrants Norway

That morning, Monday (7/25/2011), the outside of the courthouse in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, met by a crowd of journalists of print and electronic media as well as citizens of Norway are curious to know what was going on inside the courthouse.
Standing in the middle of the crowd, some groups of immigrants from Somalia and Kenya with a sense of curiosity to know just like the others.

Anders Breivik Behring, the man who membetot world public attention during the last week with the sadistic slaughter of action that is unprecedented in Norway on Friday (07/22/2011), killing at least 76 people, appeared for the first time before the judge court.
Car bombing in Oslo and shooting indiscriinately on a group of youths and teenagers on the island Utoya, done on the basis of a deep hatred against Islam and phobias excessive. The main purpose is to stop the action of Muslims migrating to Europe.
But, instead of directly attacking Muslims, Breivik has been launching attacks designed carefully to what he thinks is the root of the problem, namely the ruling Labour Party and its liberal immigration policies.
When the attacks started on Friday afternoon last week with a powerful bomb explosion outside the main government building, the Norwegian Muslim community has been preparing for the worst situation, because it assumes the action was carried out by Muslim militants. And that's assuming that develops in many circles around the world, which straightforwardly directs their index finger to Muslims as the mastermind behind the terrorist acts.
Relief did not last long
Mehtab Asfar, Secretary General of the Islamic Council of Norway, when it was leading a delegation abroad when he started receiving many phone calls from Oslo from members of the Muslim community fear.
"I heard that some Muslims have been beaten until bruised in Oslo," he said, and the women who fear calling me to ask for help, "ujranya told the BBC.
"I can only hope it does not really happen," she added.
For all Muslims in Norway, which currently total population of more than 100,000 people-there is such an odd feeling of relief when it later became clear that such attacks were not orchestrated by al-Qaida-inspired global jihad, such as the assumption of many people before. Much rather, a man with blond hair and light skin, a pure-blooded descendants of Norwegian who has the desire and ability to kill on the scale that is unprecedented in Norway.
But the relief is not long-lived when the evil ideology that lies behind the vicious acts Breivik began to lift.
Hassan Ali, who stood in the midst of the throng in front of the courthouse on Monday, was one of the Muslim immigrants who arrived in Norway 12 years ago after the outbreak of civil war in his native country, Somalia. Since he arrived in the 90's decade ago, the number of Somalis in Norway increased dramatically and now number more than 27,000 people.
Meanwhile, Hassan Ali, who now feel more criticism following the terrorist acts, not surprised by what has happened. He calls when hostility toward immigrants has begun to emerge in the past decade, and pointed to the rise of right-wing parties in parliament, particularly the Progressive Party (FrP), which now has the second largest number of seats in parliament as the cause.
"This crazy man (Anders Breivik Behring) have been brainwashed by one right-wing party in Norway, The Far right Party (FrP) ... and embrace the ideology of the party (against Muslims) ... and he must do something, "said Hassan.
"This FrP attacking the Labour Party because it is they who brought Islam to this country and defend their rights, employment and social rights."
Breivik has joined as a party member since four years ago, but denied FrP has affected him, according to them, the actions and beliefs Breivik is contrary to the policies and the party system of shared values.
Negative treatment
Somali man was feeling since the last three years of existence, especially Muslim immigrants from Somalia are not welcomed by most Norwegians.
"Every Sunday-newspaper newspapers write negative things about people just Somalia. Many people who had left Norway and will be more and more are leaving because the pressure is increasing. "
Members of other immigrant communities are also concerned about the negative treatment they get. Kenneth, who came to Norway from Kenya six years ago, told me that he's currently in the airplane when the attack occurred.
"The first thing anyone said was that it was the act of an immigrant and immigration should be stopped."
The government recognizes when opposition to immigration continues to increase in Norway as in other European countries, but they raised the hope that the terror attacks last Friday could bring a greater sense of unity for the whole nation.
A few days ago the Minister for Children and Social Equality, Audun Lysbakken, meeting with Muslim community leaders in Oslo.
"I hope this horrible incident into a lesson for us.," He said, "we must compile a new sense of solidarity, and create a more tolerant society.
