Relying on the U.S., Israel Threatens to Attack Iran

Israel's Haaretz newspaper Sunday edition (06/11/2011), mentions the attitude of the U.S.Defence Secretary Leon Panetta during his visit to Tel Aviv,about a month ago,when trying to seek clarification Zionist government's attitude towards the issue of Iran's nuclear project.But Panetta has not received a clear promise from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, Israeli War to swear to refrain from launching a military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities without prior coordination with the United States.

Ha'aretz also quoted U.S.officials who told the American media about their concerns Tel Aviv would attack Iran militarily without notifying the United States first.

Meanwhile, Israeli President Shimon Peres said that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) this week will publish a report about the Iranian nuclear project.

"It seems that the report would show that Iran is trying to possess nuclear weapons," he told IRIB.

Haaretz also reported,has not taken any decision about a military attack to Iran. However,the results of Iran's nuclear watchdog report to be released on 8 November,will be one reference to the Israeli government's decision.

In its report, Haaretz said as many as 15 members of Israel's security cabinet has so far opposed the plan of a military attack to Iran.


Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Iran's nuclear problem report was based on false claims.

"I believe the document was very weak in terms of authenticity.But if they persist, then please release the documents. Better the occasional straight face danger from the always in danger," said Salehi was quoted as saying a number of Iranian media.

Israeli experts describe Iran's nuclear program should be wary of. Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said the IAEA report would reveal the real purpose of the Iranian military.

Lieberman openly hope that Iran will be the next target of international sanctions.
