Saudi Arabia Rain Prayer Request

Unlike Indonesia,which was washed down with high rainfall,Saudi Arabia precisely the lack of rain,so prayer Istisqa held in various parts of the kingdom on Monday (26/12/2011).

Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al Faisal Istisqa attend prayers in the Haram.

In Medina, a senior official from the office of governor Sulaiman bin Mohammed Al Jeraish Istisqa attend prayers in the implementation of the Prophet's Mosque.

Prince Muhammad, who served as governor of Riyadh, visited the Turkish Mosque Imam Abdullah bin Istisqa to perform prayers.

In his sermon in Riyadh Saudi mufti who is also head of the Al Kibar Ulama, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Asyeikh, calls on Muslims to repent and beg God for forgiveness of his sins and begged rain down upon them.

Arab News (27/12/2011) reported, in addition performed in the major mosques in Saudi territory, praying Istisqa also held at universities, schools and various other places.

Prayers Istisqa always implemented by the government and the citizens of Saudi Arabia at the time they were short of rain, as taught by the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.

On 25 April, King Abdullah also ordered that citizens across the country praying to God to ask for rain. After prayers Istisqa in the morning, the rain fell in the Riyadh region during the day.
