U.S. Soldiers Arrested For Espionage

A soldier in the United States (U.S.)has been arrested at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska,USA.22-year-old soldier was arrested on suspicion of espionage.

U.S.Air Force spokesman,Lt.Col.Bill Coppernoll told Reuters on Wednesday (2/11/2011),soldier named William Colton Millay was arrested on 28 Okober ago.

It is said Coppernoll,Millay from Owensboro, Kentucky was arrested after a joint espionage investigation conducted by special agents of the FBI and the U.S.Army counterintelligence.

Coppernoll not mention who spied on by Millay or what sensitive information obtained by him.

"The arrest today is the result of close cooperation relationship between the FBI and military partners in Alaska," said Mary Rook,special agent in charge of the FBI in Alaska.

"Through this ongoing partnership,we can better protect our country," said Rook.

The investigation is still ongoing case
