A man who had resigned as pastor 20 years ago,after pleading gay,now ordained again. Associated Press reported.
Sott Anderson, 56, on Saturday (10/08/2011) at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Madison, Wisconsin, for the first time back on the church in front of hundreds of friends and supporters.
Anderson had served in Sacramento,Calif.,from 1983 to 1990.When there are people who said it would reveal his identity as a homosexual actor,Scott resigned. Presbyterian Church USA when it does not allow a gay priesthood.
However,at the national meeting last year the church agreed to abolish the ban. It opened the way for Anderson to be ordained again
