Toyota finally confirmed that it will produce the first electric-powered SUV based on Toyota's RAV4. Electric RAV4 will be manufactured in Canada.
As reported by Reuters on Sunday (07/08/2011), electric RAV4 is a collaboration with Toyota and electric car manufacturer Tesla Motors Inc..
"This is the first electric car that will be recorded good sales figures. Success electric car Toyota is not only profitable but also the entire industry," said analyst Jesse Toprak Truecar.com.
Tesla Toyota paying about U.S.$ 100 million to set up an electric motor,batteries, gearboxes and other electronic components on the RAV4 EV.
How much is it if released into the market? Toyota said ditelnya yan be announced in the near future.
